A few days of migraines, a road trip, and I put some effort into the yard. Limited time but decent progress for the time I did have.
ChatGPT/AI policy: It’s a tool I used it for simple things. Throw away thumbnails. Place holder art while I work on what I actually want in my game. It’s not different than buying place holder art from artist, which people scream about as being an asset flip instead of an artist making a living of their creations… I use if it I get stuck on an compile error for more than 30 minutes, just to see if I’ve missed something obvious (which is about the only useful thing it does) and it usually points out something I missed, which get’s me moving again so I can solve the problem… it is rarely right in it’s answers.. but some times it will say something useful enough to get me thinking about the problem differently.
As an author I use it to spell check and grammar check. I’m severely dyslexic and all the AI tools help me get through that so I can edit my books and narrative for my games. Note I don’t bother with using it on my blogs.. so you can see for your self how badly that tool is needed.
— yes some times I copy and paste this section, some times I rewrite it depending on the dumb arguments I saw in the comment sections and live chat discussions on the internet… Don’t bother telling me what you think about my AI policies and usage, I really don’t care what you think. Move along with your happy self and focus on the things that bring you joy. There is a serious lack of it in the world right now…
