ABout Kids Hide Away (2026)

We are a small Indie Game Studio, in Cleveland Ohio. We work on small projects, and have a line up of our own games release over the next 5 years. Thanks for your interest in our company and our games. .

Our favorite game genres are role play, rpg, and visual novels. We also enjoy hacker, mystery, and puzzle genres.

Our current business projects span multiple genres and styles, including:

  • Hat Trick: Hockey Hearts 2026 – hockey themed romance (visual novel, choose your own adventure style). This is story telling exercise, mastering dialogue trees, animations, and nodes, and learning Godot engine which we have choose for all of our projects going forward (scaffolding concept to lead to Dwarves in Space 2028) .
  • Eat an Elephant 2026 – a visual game development planner and design document system, this is about building integrating data systems and maintaining them (scaffolding concept to lead to Dwarves in Space 2028) .
  • Tower Defense Timer 2026 – A pomodoro timer and progress tracker for creatives, that gamifies making progress on your project with rewards and upgrades for your tower and town. The first version is single player, and second version will include multiplayer/mmo opportunity so groups can work together, (scaffolding concept to lead to Dwarves in Space 2028)
  • Black Cat Adventures 2026 – Is side scroller we made years ago as a demo, and we are remaking it into an rpg, the main character will explore their world, and help or terrorize the citizens of the world (players choice). Open World RPG style, but on a smaller scale (scaffolding concept to leading to Dwarves in Space 2028).
  • Dragon Wizards 2027 – a 3D RPG project built around magic, creatures, and adventure, focused on climate change and exploring how it would effect the world, and how to repair the world. Open World RPG style with a focus on environmental changes and how player actions can effect persistent worlds, but using 3D space (scaffolding concept to leading to Dwarves in Space 2028) .
  • Dragon Brews 2027 – a 2D RPG blending fantasy themes with a focus on medical invention, and curing a plague. Open World RPG style with a focus on spreading change or disease through player interactions, also includes busiensses and player driven economy, it tests how player actions can effect persistent economies, and again using a 3D space (scaffolding concept to leading to Dwarves in Space 2028) .
  • Dwarves in Space 2028 – an open-world RPG combining classic fantasy storytelling with modern magic and space travel. This game is about building a system and infrastructure to support more (non developers) creating their imaginary worlds as a game. We want to build the system so server owners can make their own parts of the map, and seamlessly integrate them into the system. We want to make admining and building their servers part of the gaming experience, and give them the tools and freedom to monetize their creations. Initial game and worlds will be made by us, and the tools to expand and make your worlds inside our universe will be available in version 2.

Every project we work on is created with the purpose of creating a fun and educational games, and each idea leads us closer to our “dream” game we want to make. Our goal is to create the Open RPG game that would allow us to create all the different ideas we like to explore and play with out friends.
