Spent September dealing with the tapering off of migraines, and beginning the work of sorting through what needs to be done. I’ve made it through most of the neglected bits and pieces, just a couple more to deal with in October. But mostly caught up. Not sure how to get ahead to avoid this next year, and since this is the second year with daily migraines all summer long, I’m assuming at this point that next year will be the same.

We got the Hat Trick project restarted an on it’s way. We spent some time reworking the concept and design doc for the Black Cat project (2026). We spent quite a lot of time hashing out the design doc for the Dwarves in Space project.

Despite the migraines we worked on a variety of Godot courses from GameDev.tv and will finish a few of them in October.

Once those are completed we will start the Blender courses so we can make the assets we will need for Dwarves in space, which will be in 2028. Plenty of time to learn how to make 3D art assets. Well that’s the plan we worked out. The 2D aspects of the game and some of the structure will be started in 2026 so we can work out prototypes of the idea.

For the Dragon Brews 2D and the Dragon Wizard 3D games we have purchased most of the assets on itch.io. We reworked the design docs and have planned out working on them for 2027

That’s it for September. Mostly recovering from the migraines, and then getting ready to restart and move forward in October.
