🧱 Week Five Progress
In this week we worked on the game over screen, exiting and restarting the game.
We tied these screens to the win and loose state we setup in the previous week.
I’m skipping the increasing difficulty as it doesn’t align with my final project goals.
For lesson 2.17 I already completed these changes as I worked on the project, as in version 4.4.1 the errors crash the game. Couldn’t move forward without solving that problem first.
The course lessons we completed are:
Play 2.15 Game Over & Restarting Game
Play 2.16 Increasing Difficulty Over Time
Play 2.17 CallDeferred & Debugging
The video is a compilation of snippets taken in medal, and they are speed up to keep the video short.
I fixed most of the bugs observered in the previous video.
I skipped the PlayerBullet collision issue. I decided to wait till I work on version 2, and add aliens and asteroids.
