1 1/4 cups sugar

Lab Results Day 1
Peppermint Stars:
water might’ve been too cold, and we also might have let it cool for a tiny bit too long
[8:28 AM] Peppermint Stars:
semi-failed, we’ll find a new recipe and try again later
Teacher observations:
We used a different recipe that did not use corn syrup.
https://www.leaf.tv/articles/how-to-make-hard-candy-without-corn-syrup/
Candy reached temperature, we added the color and flavor.
When we cooled the pan the as described in the instructions the candy instantly formed crystals. We were unable to pour the sugar solution as it was completely crystalized.
Stepped missed, did nto add lemon nor cream of tartar
